Saturday was one of those days when I’m reminded why I love living in Seattle. We obviously love getting out into the woods on a very regular basis, but sometimes its great to just have a city day. Samuel Hunter gave us a great excuse to stay in town, and we started off the day with a birthday celebration for him in Volunteer park. The UW architecture school provided some excellent new (adult) friends for Sabine and a couple of hours in the sun with good people and good food was just the ticket.
Then in the evening, we headed to Paseos to grab sandwiches and then into the dunes at Golden Gardens park. The evening was threatening clouds, but the sun broke them up and we were treated to a perfect evening. More friends, sand, a good laughs ended our great day.
