So The Bine has been scooching, rolling, and doing The Catepillar to get around the house. But the other day she took her real first crawl, hands and knees moving together. Here it is captured on film ….

Friday, October 30th, 2009This morning we were greeted with these wonderful laughs … apparently blowing my nose was quite hilarious.
Meet Kuja
Wednesday, October 14th, 2009On Saturday we left the house at 8:15 am, drove to Spokane, and returned home 12 hours later with Kuja, our newest family member. We’ve been trying to adopt a puppy for awhile now, but it seems that having a child under the age of 7 makes us undesireable. So, when the Springer Spaniel Rescue Association said that they had a puppies and we had been approved, we jumped at the opportunity! So far Sabine and her new playmate having been having a great time together!
Moms and veggies
Thursday, October 8th, 2009Last fall Jessica and I started going each Friday to a uPick farm in Fall City to collect vegetables for the coming week. It was on one of these trips that Jessica told me that she was also pregnant…just 5 weeks behind me! These trips were some of the highlights of my fall…together we could talk about the misery of being pregnant (did I say misery?…I must have meant joys
, we got some fresh air and Jessica introduced me to new and strange vegetables that Mark and I valliantly tried to cook with.
So, it was no surprise that this fall I have been very anxious to get started on our uPicking again. We’ve added one more to our grouping, our friend Suzie, whose daughter is just a few weeks older than Sabine. We all met in our Yoga class and are lucky to be very similar to each other. This threesome of moms is so important to me for so many reasons. Last week we did our first uPicking and for the first time since we’ve all been together, there was a camera. Finally we have a picture of our own little mom’s group with our fabulous three kiddos!
