Today the we went to our first Seattle Sounder’s game. (That’s soccer for those who don’t know who the Seattle Sounders are). It was a glorious day. We all met up on Capital Hill at Jessica and Jack’s house. Then we all took the bus down to Pioneer square and walked the rest of the way to Quest Stadium. The stadium was packed! Supposedly a new record for the Sounders. Great way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon: friends, soccer, beer, and foot long hot dogs.

Monday, June 15th, 2009A couple of weekends ago we (Dorothy, Troy, Courtney, Bebeth, Sabine, and I) went down to my parents in Olympia and went paddling. We saw lots of great animals: jelly fish, seals, blue herons, and seagulls. It was a fun time! If you want to see even more pictures check out: http://www.steudel.org/pictures/thumbnails.php?album=76
Denny Creek/Franklin Falls Hike
Sunday, June 14th, 2009The Bine, Flap, Bebeth, and I went on a hike today. We first started out trying to do Denny Creek, but after a couple of miles we came to a spot in the trail where the trail was washed out. Nobody was to enthused about tossing the Bine across, so we turned around. The second mini-hike we did was up to Franklin Falls and then we ended the day with beer and hot wings … mmmm. Dutch Hat
Saturday, June 13th, 2009Sabine decided that she needed to get in touch with the dutch side of the family. Not having a actual Dutch hat, we made due with the next best thing… a diaper.

Thursday, June 11th, 2009Hiking with Aunt Courtney
Sunday, June 7th, 2009Sabine took her first real hike a few weeks ago during Courtney’s bachelorette weekend. We went up a very steep trail on Bear Mountain. Unfortunately the we still don’t have photos from that trip. But today Courtney, Sabine and I took our second hike up Little Si outside of North Bend. Sabine slept all the way up and back down, but she did enjoy a few minutes at the top looking out over the snoqualmie valley. It was a fun day!
